Consistency can be one of the greatest challenges to achieving and maintaining good health. Even with the best intentions, our plans can blow up in an instant, sending our fitness goals right out the window. Regardless of your stage of life, establishing consistency in your health and wellness journey will benefit you in each area of your life – physically, mentally, and spiritually. At Body & Soul® Fitness, we believe fitness involves more than just your body. It also involves your soul, and we are committed to living intentional, healthy lives for the glory of God. It’s our privilege to walk alongside our students and play a part in their faith and fitness victory! The first step is to acknowledge that fitness is a lifestyle, not a seasonal sport nor a spectator sport. God created each of us in His image and these earthly bodies are made to move. Creating a lifestyle requires a plan and some trial and error. Some ideas will work and others will not, but we’ll learn from the experience and keep adding creative options to our routine until we find success. Over time, we’ll establish a healthy lifestyle and hopefully inspire others to do the same.

Here’s a sample written plan for success:

1. Schedule your quiet time and sit with the Lord daily – this is where true power comes from.
2. Schedule intentional quality time with local family and friends – we were created for community.
3. Schedule your fitness appointments – individual workouts and group workouts with www.bodyandsoul.org/classes
4. Be consistent with your water intake by keeping your water bottle filled and with you wherever you go.
5. Be consistent with your healthy diet by thinking ahead and planning meals – taking food and snacks with you when traveling.
