There are times in our life when something happens that just makes us jump for joy in a “happy dance.” We see it in our children as they dance around with joy bubbling up inside of them – even over small things. As grownups, let’s hold on to that childlike happy-dance joy, and not be afraid to jump for joy when God does something “immeasurably more” in our lives. Let’ start by remembering that “he traded our sin for joy” as the song says. When we say yes to him we can have true joy—and we can sing and dance about it any time we want!

Ephesians 3:20, 21 “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations for ever and ever! Amen.
Questions: When was the last time you did a “happy dance” over something that happened to you? When have you seen your child do a happy dance recently? What kind of happy dancing do you expect to see in heaven someday?
Prayer Power: Heavenly Father, Give me the childlike freedom to do a happy dance when wonderful things bring joy. Help me to encourage others who need the freedom to express their joy in a happy dance. Thank you for giving me the most important reason to dance! Thank you for trading my sin for joy.
