Get Some R&R (Reset & Reboot)

Are you like me, and as the summer season winds down, do you change your focus from vacations and the change of pace, to back to school or back to more of a work routine? Is this a time that you press the reset button, evaluate your long-ago new year’s resolutions, and start the fall season with a renewed outlook and refreshed goals?

I’ve seen a lot of messages on social media recently, and I’m betting you have too. It goes a little something like this: everything needs a reboot from time to time – just hold down the reset button – it’ll all be okay.

This is me as we move from summer into fall, and Body & Soul Fitness is helping me do just that. We are revved up and amped up to start a new session of fitness, faith, and community! At Body & Soul Fitness, we are igniting our love of exercise, music, and fellowship in classes all around the country!

Take a look at our fall session graphic. What do you see? Here’s what I see: I see the word revamped, which Google defines as “give new and improved form.” I also see rev, which can be a verb or a noun, and is a shortened form of revolution, usually applying to the revving of an engine. The third word I see is amped, which can be defined as turning up, or amplifying music; however, I prefer the informal definition by Merriam-Webster: “filled with energetic excitement and enthusiasm.” This perfectly describes our upcoming fall session and YOU ARE INVITED!

We are going to experience new and improved, revved up and amped up workouts that ignite our energetic excitement and enthusiasm – all while igniting revival and fellowship in our classes and communities!

I don’t know about you, but this is just the type of reset I’m looking for, and the thought of it revs me up! It’s been a wonderful summer filled with family and friends, and the less rigid routine has been good for many reasons, yet I’m beginning to long for the “normal” order that returns my work/play schedule to a more balanced equation. I’m ready to get back on track with my resolutions and focus on finishing this year as healthy as possible – both physically and spiritually. So, I encourage you to reset, reboot, and get ready to ignite your fitness goals by joining a Body & Soul Fitness class near you, where you will experience energetic excitement and enthusiasm as you connect with the best instructors and students anywhere!
